The Clex door handle is compatible with many European lock standards. The different versions allow the use in all common doors, such as wood, steel and aluminum as well as narrow frame doors with a backset of more than 20 mm. This means that the CX6172 is suitable for both, new buildings and existing objects, and thanks to its timeless, simple stainless steel design, it adapts to every environment.
The complete electronics, mechanical parts, LED signaling as well as power supply have been fitted in the small space of the door handle. The installation in doors – without need for wiring or special tools – is quick and easy. If required, the door handle can also be controlled via a radio network. Optical (red/green LEDs) and acoustic signaling allows for intuitive operation.
The reader unit with communication electronics as well as the mechanics and the power supply is located directly in the door handle. In addition to the proven radio version (868 MHz), the Clex door handle is also available as a version with Bluetooth® low energy (2.4 GHz).
As key, most different transponder bearers can be used at the Clex door handle. These include for example: ISO card and key fob.
The Clex door handle can be used in glass doors along with the following
complete glass door locks:
- DORMA Junior Office Classic, DORMA Junior Office
- FSB Rectangle Soft, FSB Rectangle
This means that the CX6172 is suitable for both, new buildings and existing objects, and thanks to its timeless, simple stainless steel design, it adapts to every environment.
The electronic door handle offers the following extended system features:
- Time switches/day access possible
- Permanent engagement (toggle function) possible
- Can be connected to the IDS module CX6934
- Suitable for outdoor use (only for MIFARE® and LEGIC® transponders)
